Book Cover Design

I am so excited to be sharing the final design of my book cover. The brilliant design was done by graphic designer and illustrator Martin Meehan. Lots of emails went back and forth about what I wanted and what would work best for the book. Martin came up with some great ideas and plenty of alternate versions, but I have finally settled on the one below.

I was fortunate to know Martin, having studied at university with him, but there are plenty of great artists/illustrators out there and it's definitely something worth investing in when you self-publish.

Having my book cover ready I am now concentrating on other aspects of self-publishing, such as formatting. It has taken, and will continue to take, a lot of organisation but I am very excited to say that my debut novel, White Plains, will be available to buy online within the next month! I will be posting another entry with links to where you can buy it, so watch this space :-)
